Boxed
I just had to use the scraps from my spiral project. I had a piece of hand dyed fabric layered with two stiff interfacing layers, and fee motion machine quilted. I made a simple 3" x 3" x 3" box, with violet rayon satin stitching to finish the edges. I topped it with a 1" square of the same stuff, added a fabric bead and some glass beads. Along the sides I added hand sewn seed beads, along 3 colors of twisted silk ribbon, in pink, purple and violet. I added a short flap to the front edge, and haven't decided on a closure yet, Velcro maybe? It is fun and CUTE and quick, I just could not waste that hand dyed fabric.
